By checking these boxes EVERYONE listed on this contract understands Country Cat Lady's terms for volunteering.

By becoming a full time volunteer you or group listed, are committing to regularly helping at least 1 or 2 times every month depending on your position

All volunteers are required to present themselves with CCL’s (Country Cat Lady) code of conduct. We treat everyone with the upmost respect no matter their abilities or appearance. There will be no negative attitudes in the clinic, no foul language or inappropriate physical contact with people and animals. Should there be any misconduct seen by or reported to a director, a volunteer may be terminated and asked not to return to CCL for the safety of our clients and animals.

Volunteers are expected to perform all necessary duties you’ve volunteered for in a timely manner according to how you were instructed. You must be reliable to show up for your scheduled time or find a replacement if you cannot make it. CCL operates and depends on our volunteers. Please be responsible.

Volunteers must NOT post pictures of clients on social media without permission from the client or a CCL Director.

Working with animals has its risks and CCL is an “at your own risk” facility. Cats will scratch and bite if they feel threatened in any way. CCL is run by volunteers and is not to be held responsible for any medical cost or loss of wedges due to injuries occurring at or with CCL’s animals. A cat’s bite is always considered a serious injury and can become infected, even life threatening within hours after the occurrence. If you are bitten, please take precautions to and seek medical attention immediately should the area become swollen, red or the feeling of pressure under the skin.

Ladies: If you are pregnant or become pregnant you are at high risk for potential birth defects to your unborn child being exposed to cat litter box waist. CCL recommends you suspend your volunteer work while pregnant or trying to become pregnant to eliminate your personal risk.

Fostered kittens/cats are the property of CCL and we can remove the animal at any time. You may not take the animal stores or other locations, re-home the animal on your own, or take it to your own vet without permission (if you do you will incur the cost not CCL), or administer any medications other then what is provided to you from CCL.

Volunteers are expected to support CCL in any way you can. By volunteering on a regular basis at least once a month, financially supporting the clinic, and/or telling others about what we do and how they can help.
